New Hours, Work Agreements, and More for Synergy Builders
Hey everyone, just finished up talking with the boss, and he is changing the set hours to 9 AM – 5 PM. This is subject to change during the summer hours when it is hot out. And will also change to match the best schedule for each customer, however, the best time to contact us will be between 9 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday. Weekends we may be unavailable to take your calls. We will always do our best to contact you as soon as possible.
Work Summaries
Now on to Work Agreements, our form of agreements have been a bit loose in structure. We will be cleaning up the phrasing by adding more language to clearly spell out the services we will provide. This protects you, and this protects us. If you ever have any need for clarification we can discuss it and make any necessary amends. Our goal is to have clear definitions of every facet of the services that we offer. Cut down on confusion, stress, and leave your conscience worry free.
Legal Agreements
Next on the agenda is coming up with the legal home improvement contract. We have one, however, it is a bit heavy on the wording, so we are looking for a way to improve this by simplifying what we can, and adding new verbiage to cover every type of project that we agree to. We have viewed various documents on Rocket Lawyer for examples, and have compared them to our existing one. Ours is a solid document, however, we want you to read it and understand it. You shouldn’t need a lawyer to tell you if it is legally binding. And we want to make sure it also covers the scope of all work to be completed in detail, not just a summary.
We are still looking for ways to improve the site, and will be linking to the blog more regularly. Keep an eye out for valuable information on what to look for in a contractor, how to spot poor quality versus good, how to budget, and even guides on how to do your own projects.
